It’s been a little quiet on the blog, but if you follow me on my social media channels, you know that I have been everything BUT quiet!
Fashion season has officially begun… and you already know the drill! Time to clean out that closet, mix and match outfits and go out in search of the perfect heels to complete your looks for the coming events. I could really use a well-deserved shopping spree, but because I have no time to be walking around with an all maxed out credit card…
I’ll just try and keep it together and work my magic like I always do. And besides that…
there are still a lot of items in my closet… that still have the tag on them.

Now let's rewind to two weeks ago, when I was invited to attend Salonè della Moda’s #SneakPeek event, where three designers gave all attendees a glimpse of what to expect during Salonè della Moda, which will be taking place on 27th, 28th & 29th of May in the lively city of Rotterdam.
For the readers who don’t know about SdM, this event is one of the fastest emerging fashion events, which The Netherlands has to offer. With over more than 200 designers, 55 fashion shows & 298 brands, this 5th edition is set to be the biggest yet!

I’ve already attended 2 editions in the past, and I can’t wait to be part of this one.

Monday May 2nd was the day that I had gotten lost heading out to Superlooks, the venue where the #SneakPeek was held. Let me spare you the details. A long story short… I missed out on the first 2 designers, Kevin Lesley and House of Byfield, but did get to see the designs of Juliëtte Heijnen.
Her designs? Too kool for skool! Just how I like them. Men wearing outrageous outfits, whiles adding their own extra flavor to complete the looks. Nothing gets me more excited, as something that is “not supposed to be”.
After recomposing myself from walking for I don’t know how long, I got myself a fruity glass of bubbles, courtesy of Bottle Business, and started to make my way around the fashionable crowd. Fashionistas, models, photographers, make-up artists, bloggers, vloggers and fabulous High School-rejects were all in attendance to take a “peek” of what is going to go down during the last weekend of May.

Carried away by the sounds of DJ Deepcover, an extra guest made her entrance right before leaving the venue.

This #SneakPeek left me wanting more and I just can’t wait to see all of what Sallonè della Moda has to offer this year. And for the ones, who don’t have any tickets yet, click here and make sure to be there!
