About
Akua “Kiwi” Konadu (pronounced as: Ekwijah) is a petite,
20-something years young woman, currently living in
The Hague, The Netherlands.
Her passion for
fashion started at an early age, where she would often be found playing around
in her mother’s closet wearing brands like Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and
Christian Lacroix.
As the youngest of 4
girls and coming from a Ghanaian household, she took a totally different path
when it came to education. Not wanting to become a lawyer, doctor or engineer
like her sisters, gave her the name
“L’Enfant terrible” of the family.
Schoolin’ life.
Her internship at the
Dutch Embassy of Ghana during her high school years,
made her realize that
having a 9 tot 5 job was not cut out for her.
After finishing high
school, she went on to studying Hospitality Management in Rotterdam and had the
chance to live in Spain for couple of months while interning at "Dreams and Adventures", one of the top leading team-building and corporate events company in the country. On her return, she then went on
to study Communication in the lively city of Amsterdam. Having the opportunity
to land a couple of internships during her study (Press Only; Showroom management and
Quy Goddess; Event manager), is when she knew that her interest in fashion was more than just a hobby....
It had become a part of her lifestyle.

New beginnings.
A few years later,
filled with numerous traveling destinations such as New York, Paris and Ghana,
gaining working experiences in the Dutch and American fashion industry and some
more studying, “Devinity Ent.”/ “Twenty In This City.” was brought to life in
2011, as an event planning company with its own fashion & lifestyle blog.
The brand underwent
some great changes in 2013, right before Akua’s summer trip to New York,
by
turning into the freelance Public Relations agency; Cosmos&Lipstick.
During her stay in New
York, Akua focused on getting to know more of what was going on in the
industry. By attending numerous events and getting to know the fashion scene in
“The city that never sleeps”. Akua was able to get in contact with other bloggers,
publicists and fashion enthusiasts.
